System integration and development company, Navicon, is among TOP 20 BI solution providers in Russia according to CNews, a leading Russian IT journal. Last year the company earned 467 million rubles on Business Analytics projects. Moreover, based on results of 2019 Navicon became Tableau Gold Partner. The rating and review “Analytics 3.0-2020”, which was prepared by CNews Analytics, considers IT companies’ results in 2018-2019.
Russian business analytics market continues to demonstrate steady growth. First of all, it can be explained by high demand for BI solutions among large and SMB companies. However, according to Navicon’s experts, senior management started lately to set more precise and measurable goals for business analytics solutions. Besides, players on different markets – from bank to pharmaceutical ones – realized that without thorough usage of data it is hard to build a data driven company, which makes decisions based on reliable and relevant reports and forecasts, but not hypothesis.
One more trend, which the system integrator has registered on Russian BI market, is increase in trust to cloud computing. That is why Navicon has migrated two industry solutions – Navicon Pharma BI and FMCG BI – to Microsoft Azure. Because of that clients can use advanced analytics services, including tools for working with AI, as well as get insights from data and reports on any device and anywhere in the world. New customers, which are starting to develop their own BI expertise, can get an opportunity to start with low capacity and increase it when it is needed.
Navicon professionals suppose that new class BI solutions have high potential on the Russian market as well. It is those solutions that use natural language, provide quick access to data and interpret it, use voice command and request functions. That is why Navicon has recently become the first partner of ThoughtSpot in Russia – a leader of Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms and a developer of a Search and AI-Driven Analytics solution. Using ThoughtSpot, any company employee, even one who has not worked with BI solutions before, can type keywords in search and the system will generate a report. Because of artificial intelligence technology SpotIQ, the system provides users an opportunity to search for a topic, a keyword or a diagram, and immediately get additional automated insights, which can potentially be interesting for analysis and decision making.
